An Augmentation Experiment in Time Series Modeling
This research is a joint collaboration between machine learning researcher Sangwon Hwang and System1’s Nathan Janos.
At System1 we get to solve fun and challenging engineering problems every day. We architect, build and scale novel distributed systems and algorithms to help the business meet the demanding goals of users all over the world. All of our systems are built on top of the Open Source ecosystem which we frequently get to contribute back to.
—Chris Testa, VP, Engineering
As a Data Scientist, I work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and construct models to help achieve more profitable campaigns and scale up their efforts. I take on new business requests to automate and optimize advertising campaigns. I have been implementing the logic for these models in a directed acyclic graph which allows both the Data Science team and campaign managers to visualize the models we have in place. System1's Data Science team has the freedom to develop new technologies using cutting edge frameworks while at the same time growing our skills and careers.
—Lucas Mattick, Data Scientist
As a Software Engineer at System1, I build and architect complex products and services that strive to make a user's experience on the web better. I'm always encouraged to use cutting edge technologies and am given the time and resources to research and implement the best solution to a given challenge. One of the best things about working at System1 is having the privilege to work with such intelligent, experienced, and understanding individuals.
—Delgermaa “Deegii” Altangerel, Software Engineer
At System1, we pride ourselves on building scalable solutions using best-in-class technologies like Snowflake and Apache Airflow to process billions of records from dozens of data integrations. Our team has built an incredible data platform that seamlessly handles data delays and notifications with little to no intervention. Problem-solving with dedicated team members makes the journey as rewarding as the destination.
